POST MODERNISM:
POSTAL SERVICE

Post Modernism: Postal Service
This triptych was an assignment of research, synthesizing, and executing material. I was asked to study a particular artist within the Post Modern era to study their style. Using this exploration, I had to utilize these observations and create a new design to demonstrate a piece of music. The final result is a visual and textual representation of an alternative indie song, “Nothing Better,” by The Postal Service. Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello’s 2003 musical endeavor is a sleepy and dreamy record about love and heartbreak, wrapped in a synthpop passion project. This series was built with inspirations from Post Modern designer Wolfgang Weingart, paired with a palette of joyous colors to support the love stricken energy.
